DC Comics and big money on eBay
In issue #10, Batgirl lets loose with a couple of words you can’t say on TV. The offending words were supposed to have been blacked out, but the issue was already printed. DC Comics wanted to destroy the issue on receipt, but ….copies still made it into the hands of collectors, and now many of those ended up on eBay where prices for the suddenly-rare comic hit triple digits.
